GNM Course – 3 Years. The medium of instruction is English.
Eligibility
Candidates should be between 17 to 35 years of age by 31st December of the current year.
Candidates should be female and unmarried.
Physically and mentally fit to undergo the training.
The minimum educational qualifications is 10+2 passed or its equivalent preferably, science
subjects with aggregate of 40% marks. Those who have appeared for board examination also can
apply. English subject for High School and Intermediate is compulsory.
ANM training i.e. 10+1.5 years training should also have passed +2 or is equivalent examination.
Mode of application
Application form and prospectus shall be issued from the office of the School of Nursing, ST. Joseph’S Hospital, Gumla on payment of Rs. 300/- person.
Application forms duty filled in, together with photocopies of all necessary documents should
reach the office of the Principle before the last of date of submission. When you fill the

Interview and Selection Process
Eligible candidates will appear for an entrance examination(Written Test) of one hour duration. There will be an interview after written test for those who have done the written exam satisfactorily.
Selection and admission will be based on merits of qualifying examination, written and personal interview.
Preference will be given to candidates from Jharkhand state and of Christian minority groups.
The decision of the admission committee of the institution will be final and binding.
Selected candidates will have to undergo a complete medical check-up at their own expenses conducted by the institution and only those found fit will be selected for the course.
